Material and Vision

Choice of material is intrinsic to an artist’s vision. However, artists often limit their options by defining themselves within a certain medium (painting, photography, sculpture, etc.). This session encourages students to explore and consider alternative materials and mediums, which might better realize the intent of their work. Artists working in any medium are invited to register and expand the possibilities. Prerequisite: Established body of work and foundational understanding of their primary medium.
