Experimenting with Gouache

Shannon will offer a comprehensive introduction to the tools, techniques, and the creative possibilities of works on paper, using primarily gouache paint. Gouache is a popular water-based medium used in contemporary painting, illustration, and design. Like watercolor, gouache can be challenging to those new to the medium. Shannon will help students work through some of the more difficult aspects of painting with gouache as well as demonstrate techniques used when applying gouache to a variety of substrates.
