Beginning Oil Painting 21Pa6-3

Students will have the opportunity to follow along as Barlow demonstrates each step in the process of painting in oil. Content will center on basic techniques, including brush attributes, preparing a painting surface, paint application and mark making, color mixing, and safety and clean up. Students will work primarily from observation (still life) to develop skills in using the different tools and techniques.

REGISTRATION NOTES

This class must meet minimum enrollment by May 17, 2021 at 4 PM. Please register before this date to ensure your spot.

Due to current covid-19 safety protocol, class enrollment will be limited to allow for physical distancing, etc. Students are encouraged to register early. Should you find that the class you want to attend is full, we encourage you to get on our waitlist and, as safety standards continue to evolve, we anticipate that additional class spaces will be made available.

Should covid-19 affect our ability to meet in person this class will pivot to a shortened virtual class that will be demonstration/discussion focused.
