Sylvia Peters

Sylvia is a 30 year veteran teacher at an Environmental Magnet school and Creative Arts Magnet school, who has relocated to the North Shore community of Grand Marais, MN. She’s been immersed in art from a young age. Her parents worked in clay and she’s been involved in art and training from Walker Art Center, Guthrie, MN Center for the Book Arts, MIA, Perpich Center for Arts Education, Kennedy Center for the Arts, Grand Marais Art Colony, North House Folk School, etc. Her own interests include book arts, printing, mixed media, textiles, basketry, gardening, and woodworking.
