Steven Spazuk

Steven Spazuk is a professional visual artist internationally known for his work with fire. The transparency, fluidity, and unpredictability of soot from burning flames define his images and propel the continuous evolution of his technique: fumage. His work explores the reality of the Anthropocene and highlights the duality of human nature which is reflected in destructive and constructive forces of fire, his medium of choice.
