Virtual: Quick and Easy Terra Sigillata 21V-C5-1

Terra sigillatas are versatile and can be used: with all types of clay, at all kiln firing temperatures, and in all types of ceramic kilns. In this virtual class Rhonda will teach students beginning ways of making and using terra sigillatas and advanced techniques including how to make many different colored terra sigillatas. Students will have assignments in between each week and can purchase the optional supply kit or gather supplies independently. This workshop also aims to expand beyond technique and provide an environment of encouraged creative inquiry so also bring your love of exploration and creative risk-taking!

Registered students will be able to purchase a supply kit directly from Rhonda within 10 days prior to the first session that includes basic terra sigillata supplies to be used in session 2. Should students already have terra sigillata supplies they would not need to purchase the kit.
