Stylized Watercolor Interpretations

Often referred to as Sterling’s signature style of painting, his stylized paintings are a balance of traditional watercolor and abstract design combined into an expressive and thought-provoking painting. Sterling will teach students to exaggerate shapes and use expressive colors to capture the essence of a subject rather than merely replicating what they see. Learning to interpret and be creative opens the door to a new world of possibilities for the artist regardless of the individual’s skill level.
