Making Pots

Focus on your individual skill building, curiosities, and aesthetic development during an intensive week of making. Through daily demonstrations, discussions, fun exercises, and personalized attention, participants will create well-crafted and thoughtful pottery. To begin the class, students will fire pre-bisque pots to explore glazing techniques. Pots that are made during class and dry will be bisque-fired at the end of class. With an atmosphere of fun and hard work, the goal is for students to experience personal growth in their work. Both wheel throwers and hand builders are welcome. Prerequisite: Foundational clay and wheel-throwing experience.
