Patterns on Pots 21C9-1
Patterns on Pots is for people curious about introducing pattern into their ceramic work. Students will use quick and accessible techniques, such as stamping and paper resist, to create unique patterns and apply them to thrown forms. Ursula will lead an exploration of ways to generative distinctive motifs and consider the compositional challenges presented by different forms. The class will use low-fire earthenware clay and slips but the techniques and concepts can be applied to higher temperatures as well.
