Painting Waterfalls

Some of the great attractions of the North Shore are the many and varied waterfalls of the region. Join Catherine and learn to capture the moving water of the falls as well as the texture and color of the rocks. We will spend one afternoon on site, painting and recording observations that we can take back to the studio for reference. This class will focus students on concepts of value and color temperature to complete their paintings. Prerequisite: Foundational watercolor experience, including working with a variety of washes, color mixing, and basic drawing skills.
