Nature Sketchbook: Using the Outdoor Studio
The most important goal in Pam’s workshop is not a destination (i.e., a perfect finished drawing), but learning to relish the journey you experience by allowing yourself to slow down, carefully observe and connect with nature. You will learn different ways to approach your subject by collecting information in your sketchbook. Altering points of view, perspective, and composition will increase your ability to see things differently and connect with your subject. We will take advantage of the beautiful surroundings by working outdoors as much as possible. Prerequisite: foundational drawing experience required.
