Making Waves in Watercolor 21Pa5-2

The middle of summer is the perfect time to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior while learning to paint waterscapes. Cathy will provide insight and demonstrate how to capture some of that beauty on paper. Students will learn to compose a successful waterscape, work on value studies in order to understand shapes and value contrast, find color solutions, and learn a three-step wash approach to watercolor painting. This class includes some outdoor excursions.
