Experiments in Screenprinting 21Pr6-1
This workshop focuses on a variety of water-based screenprinting techniques that can be used to create editioned or unique prints. Employing hand-drawn approaches and photomechanical processes, we will explore screenprint through traditional and contemporary approaches. Emphasis is placed on learning how to create and manipulate the serigraph as we examine the multiple, repetition, reproducibility, and reinterpretation. Through demonstrations, discussions, examples, and hands-on work, participants are encouraged to experiment as they investigate personal creative directions.
