Decollage: Making New Work from Old Material

Brian will help students to discover and create new works through the process of removal or decollage. Students will bring a favorite book, stack of photos, or other printed materials to dissect, cut, and tear, removing various layers in order to arrive at a new form. The class will reflect on the various interpretations and how the new works relate to individual narratives.
