Acrylic Methods and Materials

Explore the world of acrylic painting with Paul who will teach students to interpret subject matter in light and color using basic principles to advanced techniques.  All subject matter will be direct observation still life with an emphasis on depicting light as the subject matter. Demonstrations and teaching will include value studies, complimentary color system painting, full color painting, altered light systems, color gamut painting, rendering various surfaces, alla prima and indirect painting techniques.
