Mentor Series: Art Making and Being in the World: Sensorial to Practical 21MS8-2
Are you needing a new way forward in your art and open to considering new ideas around your practice? This mentoring experience is for artists working in any media to advance their artistic development and work. Charles’ class is crafted with both elements of inspiration and good challenge. Students will bring works in progress and the experience will include sensual, philosophical, and practical artistic exploration and development. We will read poetry (Bronk, Sobin, Glück), philosophy (Plato, Hume, Scarry) look at historical and contemporary artists, discuss material choices, and critique your art, all with the focus of helping you see your art and its development in new ways. Prerequisite: Established body of work and foundational understanding of chosen medium.

REGISTRATION NOTES
This class must meet minimum enrollment by June 28, 2021 at 4 PM. Please register before this date to ensure your spot.
Due to current covid-19 safety protocol, class enrollment will be limited to allow for physical distancing, etc. Students are encouraged to register early. Should you find that the class you want to attend is full, we encourage you to get on our waitlist and, as safety standards continue to evolve, we anticipate that additional class spaces will be made available.
