Guillermo Guardia

Guillermo Guardia is originally from Lima, Peru and currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received an MFA in ceramics and MS in industrial technology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Guillermo creates figurative sculptures and pottery, integrating pattern and form which are influenced by art history, his upbringing in Peru, Catholicism, his transition to living in the United States, and political events. In 2019-2020 Guillermo was awarded a McKnight Foundation fellowship for ceramics artists. moguya.com
