Galilee Peaches
Galilee Peaches is a Minnesota-based interdisciplinary artist who makes images and objects that focus on gesture, suggesting movement, touch, and transferal. She follows the behavior around sites of intimacy such as the bed, kitchen table and wash basin to study the tenderness of the body and question how we adapt and adjust to find balance within our environment. She received her BFA in Studio Art from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and was awarded the Bud & Betty Micheels Student Artist Residency and Grant. Her artist book is part of the Rosemary Furtak Collection at the Walker Art Center. galileepeaches.com
