Surface Design for Wheel-thrown Ceramics

Students will create wheel-thrown objects with the intention to embellish the work with marks of impression, removal, and addition. Carving, stamping, altering, slip decoration, chattering, and under-glazing techniques will be demonstrated. Prerequisite: open to students who have taken Beginning Clay or have foundational wheel-throwing experience.
