Pen and Marker Nature Illustration

No matter your skill level or experience level, Sarah will provide you with tools along the way to fit your comfort level. Students will start by learning technical drawing methods, including the use of geometric shapes to build a figure, and the idea of using anchors to ensure proportionate drawing. Then students will move on to work with techniques specific to drawing with pens, including cross hatching and approaches to shading that can help generate texture. Sarah will also demonstrate how to blend markers in a way that allows for dynamic layering and a painterly quality.
