Opening Reception: Along Shifting Surfaces by David Andree
Along Shifting Surfaces: Snow Drifts and Shoreline Spaces
Free and open to all! Art Colony Artist-in-Residence David Andree will be out in the North Shore landscape to investigate the transitory topography of snow drifts and shoreline spaces through painting and sculptural intervention. Processes include generating temporary frozen fabric sculpture and objects made to interface with undulations in the landscape to serve as subjects for perceptually driven paintings. David’s residency will culminate in a month-long exhibition and you are invited to the (indoor) opening reception! The exhibition will include paintings, drawings and photographic prints. If you are unable to make it, know that the exhibition will remain up and free to explore until February 16.
Please note this event was previously scheduled for January 14, but has since been rescheduled.
