Oil Painting Plein Air 21Pa5-1

Enjoy the picturesque landscape of Grand Marais by spending four days painting outdoors. Neil will discuss and demonstrate the basic elements of plein air painting—such as how to look past the leaves, twigs, and branches to paint a convincing composition, tips on mixing colors, and materials and gear. Instruction will also cover artistic techniques such as perspective, form, and value, and there will be plenty of time to paint.

REGISTRATION NOTES

This class must meet minimum enrollment by March 29, 2021 at 4 PM. Please register before this date to ensure your spot.

Due to current covid-19 safety protocol, class enrollment will be limited to allow for physical distancing, etc. Students are encouraged to register early. Should you find that the class you want to attend is full, we encourage you to get on our waitlist and, as safety standards continue to evolve, we anticipate that additional class spaces will be made available.

This class meets largely outdoors. Should COVID 19 affect our ability to meet in person this class will be canceled.
