Mentor Series: The Creative Archive 21MS6-3

Join multi-disciplinary artist Susan to motivate your artistic practice. We often lose sight of where our creative sparks began and get bogged down with judging our work. Keeping a creative archive is one way to keep your ideas fresh while expanding your original impulse into a body of work. You will start each morning with exercises to help develop a creative archive that allows you to open up your practice. Students of multiple disciplines are invited to attend. Susan has worked in installation, video, prints, photographs, drawings, as well as community-based projects and was the interim head of the Print Media Department at Cranbrook Academy of Art. Prerequisite: Established body of work and foundational understanding of chosen medium.
