Drop-in Art Lab: Basic Chain Maille and Jewelry Techniques (Ages 8 – 14)

Create a unique bracelet and basic cut out pendant. We will look at different patterns of loop-in-loop chains and pick out one to create a bracelet. Students who are interested in creating a sawn metal accessory can also learn to use a jewelers’ saw to create a silhouette shape and we can embellish it with riveted layers or prongs to hold a found object. All supplies and materials are included.

Students can pre-register for this event online or drop in at 1 PM to participate as space allows.
