Community Conversation: The 100 Days Project Information Meeting

January 20 – April 30, 2019

Theme: Art’s Ability to Nurture

One way to think of creativity is as a process of imagining, solving, and inventing. In that case, it applies to ALL of our lives! Take a step out of the routine and consider what a daily commitment to creativity can look like.

At the Info Session, participants will learn about this year’s theme and receive a variety of handouts. Past participants will share about their experience and we’ll watch a Ted Talk video on the initiative.

Throughout the 100 Days participants can drop in to a lunchtime gathering at the Art Colony every Monday from 12 – 1 pm. Support also comes through a virtual, Facebook community and our sister arts community in Marquette, Michigan. Those who complete at least the first 20 days can choose to submit images to a virtual exhibition put together by the Michigan crew and there will also be a gathering at the Art Colony so those who want to can share and celebrate their experiences.
