Clay Animal Masks (Ages 5 – 7)

Do you want to run fast? Fly? Roar? Discover how animal traits and symbolism have influenced mask making around the world and create a colorful clay mask of your favorite animal using supplied templates for eyes, ears, snouts, beaks or use your own imagination and creativity. Students will learn basic hand-building techniques to add attachments and decorate with textures and colorful underglazes. Masks will be glazed, fired, and available for pick-up within two weeks.

Registration for this class remains open until October 10, 2019. Please register before this date.
