Chains: Soldered, Unsoldered, Sawn, and Secured
Enjoy the meditative quality of making chains. Although this technique is usually linked with repetition, we will also explore designing chains that do not depend on identical links. Students will create soldered and unsoldered chain patterns out of wire and sheet, make jump rings by hand as well as with the jump ring maker, and design simple clasps. Whether you take the traditional track or desire to design your own links, your creativity will not be fettered.
Registration for this class remains open until June 6, 2019. Please register before this date.
