Beginning Oil Painting

Gain a basic foundation of oil painting as Paula covers all of the fundamental tools of the trade from color to design. Along with a variety of hands-on exercises, students will cultivate the seeds of creative thinking, interpretation, and observation. This class is intended to be a fun-jumping off point and students will complete at least one painting. Discussions will include color basics, brush and surface choices, foundational design, and a look at some historical masters.
