Artist Talk: Printmaking, Donut Shops, and Sunday Afternoons

UPDATE: Due to recommendations about social distancing and COVID- 19, this class is cancelled for 2020. Please keep tabs on the Art Colony’s social media sites for upcoming opportunities to engage and, should you be in a position to do so, consider making a contribution by clicking here and visiting our GIVEMN site.

Meet West St. Paul painter and printmaker Carolyn Swiszcz, creator of colorful, texture-filled images of architecture and businesses from the first-ring suburb she calls home. She’ll share what she sees in these subjects and the simple but innovative techniques used to render them. Carolyn will also describe some of her tricks for finding surprise and inspiration in an often hum-drum world.

This class is part of the Art Colony’s 2020 – 2021 theme of habitat, exploring our natural homes and those we share them with.

No pre-registration is required and drop-ins are welcome.
