Independent residents are allotted studio space in a cooperative studio setting and access to the following equipment

- Kilns: Three Skutt electric; raku and primitive firing options
- North Star Slab Roller
- Extruder
- Peter Pugmill
- Flex Shaft
2023 Self-guided residency rates, based on a 5-7 day week
- 1 week | $180
- 2 weeks | $355
- 3 weeks | $530
- 4 weeks | $715
- One-time $50 cleaning fee for 1 – 2 week residencies and one-time $100 cleaning fee for 3 – 4 week residencies
- Cook County resident artists receive a 10% discount
Firing options are as follows:
- For 1 week residencies, artists can do 1 bisque firing.
- For 2 week residencies, artists can do 2 bisque firings.
- For 3 week residencies, artists can do 1 bisque and 1 glaze firing.
- For 4 week residencies, artists can do 1 – 2 bisque and 1 – 2 glaze firings.
Residents will outline their project needs and firing schedules on the application.
