Along Shifting Surfaces: Snow Drifts and Shoreline Spaces
by David Andree
January 11 — February 16, 2020
David worked on-site in the landscape to investigate the transitory topography of snow drifts and shoreline spaces through painting and sculptural intervention. His processes include generating temporary frozen fabric sculpture and objects made to interface with undulations in the landscape to serve as subjects for perceptually driven paintings. David’s residency culminated in a month-long exhibition including paintings, drawings and photographic prints.
