Lake Superior and the Enduring Gift Exhibition
February 1 – 28, 2019
2018 marked the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Photographer Craig Blacklock’s traveling exhibition celebrates this anniversary and the beauty of the St. Croix and Namekagon rivers. The exhibition has shown in such prestigious locations as the Mill City Museum and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. Select pieces from the exhibition will be at the Art Colony, along with Craig’s work depicting Lake Superior.
And on February 15, at 7 pm, join us for an free Artist Talk. Craig will present several video segments with original music by Peter Mayer, and discuss his two and a half year project, which was a centerpiece of the 50th anniversary Wild and Scenic Rivers Act celebrations. Books will be available for sale at the event.
