Novel Starter Class: NaNoWriMo
During November, people all around the world write 50,000-word first drafts for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Whether you have a few books under your belt or are a beginner, writing is easier—and a lot more fun—with support. In October students will “stock the pond” by brainstorming plot, creating character studies, and outlining. November sessions will provide accountability as students rack up their word counts and continue developing their story. Mediated feedback, brainstorming, and buddy check-ins will help break through blocks and support the practice of writing long after class ends.
Registration for this class remains open until September 17, 2020. Please register before this date.
