You Can Help Raise the Roof on the Art Colony’s Expansion!

The Art Colony is expanding into a new space (read more about it here) and we are raising funds to repair damages to the existing roof. Your support through buying one or several $10 raffle tickets directly supports this effort and the Art Colony’s ongoing mission! Consider the impact your ticket purchase will make:

• 1 ticket will help the Art Colony move forward in creating safe and welcoming space for youth
• 5 tickets will cover the cost of one square foot of the roof
• 10 tickets will help expand arts programming through increased classroom and studio space

Each ticket gives you a chance to win a Grand Grand Marais prize package worth over $900. This includes:

• A two-night stay at Grand Marais House of Light; a $500 value donated by Cascade Vacation Rentals
• Liz Sivertson Symbiosis, giclee print; a $369 value donated by Sivertson’s Gallery
• A basket of North Shore delights

The winning ticket will be drawn on September 19 at 6:45 pm at the Grand Marais Art Colony, 21 W Hwy 61, Grand Marais, Minnesota. Grand Marais Mayor Jay Arrowsmith DeCoux and Visit Cook County Executive Director Linda Jurek will be pulling the winning ticket. The event will be broadcast live on the Art Colony’s Facebook page.
