Throughout our seventy-plus year history, the Grand Marais Art Colony has supported individuals in pursuing their artistic dreams and aspirations. Our hope is that everyone who comes to the Art Colony recognizes their ability to create and becomes an artist wherever they are in the world.

Join us for a special evening event that celebrates you and all of the people who make the Grand Marais Art Colony’s work possible so that every artist can continue to explore their interests and hone their talents.

The evening will include fine food and drinks, an Artful Auction, live music and the best view in Grand Marais. All proceeds will benefit the Art Colony.

Featured Guest Speaker: Author and Comedian Lorna Landvik

You may know Lorna from her recently-released twelfth novel Chronicles of a Radical Hag (With Recipes). Other books of hers include the best-selling Patty Jane’s House of Curl and Oh My Stars. She will be joining us for Artful Evening as our featured guest speaker. We are so thrilled to have her, as she will no doubt be delivering her signature wit and devilishly funny humor all evening.

Artful Auction:

Among the many artworks and experiences that will be up for auction, there are sure to be some that stir your heart or whet your appetite. Perhaps an original “Thrush” lithograph by Art Colony founder Birney Quick? Or the diamond earrings by Vince Mirabelli?
