Botanical Greeting Cards

This class will introduce participants to cut paper art. Students will design and produce greeting cards based on botanical material collected from the local environment in and around Grand Marais. The first part of the class will be devoted to learning the basic design elements and techniques for cut paper art such as positive and negative space. In the second half of the class, each student will execute their own card design using x-acto knives and layered paper.
